Additional Income

Another part of my plan was to pick up some nights and weekends contract work. I am a programmer so this is not uncommon. I found the best method for doing this is using Craigslist "Gigs" section and post under "Services".

Found some work, the nicest being a $1500 job to fix up a mess left by a previous contractor.

It may not buy you happiness but lack of it will bring you misery if handled poorly.

I was irresponsible with credit, debt and money. I ignored the impending doom until I had to handle it because impending doom has a way of finally arriving, especially when ignored.

This is an account of pulling myself out of that and the ongoing attempts to improve my financial situation through practical means.

This also details starting a Blog with minimal experience, I mean minimal.

Shown is a graph of my income vs. expenses - There is some approximation historically but the most recent months and on should be quite exact. This will be the ongoing gauge of my efforts to improve my financial situation by practical means.

I am not the sort of person who will spend time each week looking for coupons or is generally looking to reduce my quality of lifestyle. But I got myself into some trouble, now I have to get out it out. I want to reduce expenses and increase income with minimal work.

I am only looking to live better.
